In addition to nearly a decade of experience as a financial planner, having worked with Morgan Stanley and Tortuga Wealth Management (with LPL Financial as Tortuga’s broker dealer), Jeff Weston’s experience includes international real estate investment, social enterprise and non-profit management, all of which provide him with a broad perspective to serve individuals and organizations pursuing a range of financial goals.
Today, Jeff focuses on serving highly successful young professionals and business owners whose financial situations are growing increasingly complex. Each client is unique and Jeff enjoys providing bespoke investment management and financial planning services to help address each client’s needs. Increasingly, Jeff advises multiple generations of his clients’ families and serves clients across the country. With his background in impact investing, Jeff can provide insight to managing a client’s wealth in harmony with a client’s values and philanthropic goals.
Jeff obtained his MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. During his time at Georgetown, he was named a Packard MBA Fellow while working with the Nature Conservancy; in addition, Jeff designed and led Georgetown’s first course in impact investing. Jeff also worked as a research analyst for Microvest Capital, an impact investor in microfinance. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Jeff is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, having lived and worked in Latin America for over three years. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and community service. He is an active member of Penn Serves LA and former board member of DIY Girls and Alliance for College-Ready Public Schools. He also serves on the board of directors of a private foundation that does high-impact philanthropy. Jeff resides in the South Bay with his wife, two young children, and two friendly felines.
